The Rush showing is located near Fleece Creek, about 3 kilometres east of Fourth Lake.

The area is underlain by volcanics rocks of the Upper Devonian McLaughlin Ridge Formation (Sicker Group). These have been intruded, to the west, by a large body of Jurassic Island Intrusives and are locally overlain by Nanaimo Group Sediments.

Minor fracture fillings of chalcopyrite, malachite and pyrite occur over a 2 square metre area of dark green massive basalt of the Upper Devonian McLaughlin Ridge Formation (Sicker Group). Epidote alteration rims the fractures. A grab sample assayed 0.5 per cent copper (Assessment Report 16592).

In 1987 and 1988, Roap Resources completed programs of soil, rock, and silt geochemical surveys, geological mapping, geophysical surveys and a seven hole diamond drill program, totalling 1002.0 metres on the Rush, Sicker (092F 467) and Nan (092F 447) claims. In 1991, Goldbank Ventures Ltd. Completed a program of prospecting, geological mapping and geochemical sampling on the Green Group.
