The LeBaron Fraction occurrence is located on the northern slope of Reid Creek, a tributary of Braden Creek.
The area is underlain by plutonic rocks, primarily diorite, of the Paleozoic and/or Mesozoic Westcoast Complex.
Between 2006 and 2010, Le Baron Prospecting completed preliminary programs of prospecting and geochemical surveys on the area as a part of the Pearson project. In 2006, a chip sample (8314582) of sulphide mineralized gabbro and/or granite, weighing 0.38 kilogram, returned values greater than 100 parts per million silver and greater than 10,000 parts per million copper, zinc and lead, respectively (Assessment Report 30519). In 2008, sampling of sulphide bearing rocks returned up to 189 parts per million copper (G0686581; Assessment Report 30697).
