The EF showing is located southeast of Enderby, near Oleen Creek.
The area is underlain by metamorphic rocks of the Proterozoic to Paleozoic Kootenay Assemblage. These comprise primarily phyllites, quartzites, limestones and conglomerate.
Locally, a shear zone or stockwork occurs, hosting stingers of chalcopyrite with chlorite, biotite, quartz, carbonate and minor pyrite mineralization hosted in metamorphosed mafic rocks. The zone is approximately 30 centimetres wide and strikes 062 degrees, dipping 60 degrees to the southeast. Samples taken from a roadcut in the claim area contained "interesting" amounts of copper.
The drillhole in 1985 intersected galena in altered mica schist and green shale. A sample from the core assayed 182 grams per tonne silver and 2.95 per cent lead (Assessment Report 14537).
In 1979, a geochemical survey was completed. From 1981 to 1982, a magnetometer survey was completed in the area. In 1985, one diamond- drill hole was completed. In 1993, the Oleen 1-3 claims were staked on the area and the following year a program of geological mapping and prospecting was completed. In 1996, Coronation Mines completed a program of soil geochemical surveys, VLF-EM surveys and geological mapping.
