The Brunswick adjoins the Eva (082KNW066) on the north. Quartz veins with gold occur in phyllite of the Lardeau Group.
The Brunswick, discovered in 1898, and is reported to have had a large amount of visible “clean ore”. The property was sold by the original locator to the Lardeau-Goldsmith Company who had five men working on the property in the winter. An unspecified amount of ore was shipped in 1899. In 1900, 4 men were at work driving a tunnel. The Brunswick was reported to be Crown-granted to A. Sinclair, M. Simpson and S. T. Langley in 1900 but was also reported as such to a James Magee in 1906. In 1988, Granges Exploration conducted an exploration program over a group of claims in the Brunswick area. One of the Granges geochemical maps show the Brunswick claim along with gold geochemistry lines and values.
