The property was sold by the original locator to the Lardeau-Goldsmith Company who had five men working on the property in the winter. An unspecified amount of ore was shipped in 1899. In 1900, 4 men were at work driving a tunnel. The Brunswick was reported to be Crown-granted to A. Sinclair, M. Simpson and S. T. Langley in 1900 but was also reported as such to a James Magee in 1906. In 1988, Granges Exploration conducted an exploration program over a group of claims in the Brunswick area. One of the Granges geochemical maps show the Brunswick claim along with gold geochemistry lines and values.
