The Little Blue River occurrence is located about 2 kilometres east of Little Blue River, 13 kilometres north of Gallic Lake, approximately 125 kilometres north of the community of Dease Lake.

Locally, plagioclase and/or pyroxene porphyritic flows and pyroclastic rocks in Division III of the Tournaisian (lower Early Mississippian) to Permian(?) Sylvester allochthon host minor disseminated pyrite and chalcopyrite in widely distributed, small alteration zones.

At the Little Blue River showing, a small zone of quartz-carbonate-clay-pyrite-chalcopyrite alteration was observed with thin quartz-carbonate veinlets (Fieldwork 1987, page 241).
