The Sloko Lake copper occurrence is reported to occur on the Sloko River about 2 kilometres east of Sloko Lake approximately 50 kilometres south of the community of Atlin (Geological Survey of Canada Map 218A).
The showing area is underlain by Early Eocene Sloko Group volcanics; no details of the showing are available. The hostrocks are not identified in available reports. The area is composed primarily of Sloko Group volcanics and the mineralization is inferred to be porphyry-style disseminated copper (inferred to be chalcopyrite).
