Capsule Geology

The Legal Tender property is located 32 kilometres east of Whiting Lake.

The Legal Tender Zone is a highly silicified and extensively altered Pennsylvanian limestone unit within undivided Pennsylvanian volcanics of the Stikine Assemblage.

In 2018, J2 Syndicate Holdings Ltd was conducting an an extensive review of fieldwork data from 2016 and 2017 when the mineralized unit was revealed. A 16 metre chip sample returned 0.33 grams per tonne gold, including 0.63 grams per tonne gold over 4 metres, for an overall assay value of 0.5 grams per tonne (Assessment Report 38351). The structurally altered limestone horizon has been recognized for 3.5 kilometres along strike and the gold mineralized zone remains open.
