The Westarg 3 occurrence is located approximately 12 kilometres northwest of Tunjony Lake, on a northeast facing slope of a south trending ridge, within two kilometres northwest of the Park 13 property (MINFILE 104K 158).
The Westarg 3 showing area is underlain by a Paleocene to Eocene batholith of the Sloko-Hyder Plutonic Suite composed of granite and alkali feldspar granite. The batholith intrudes Upper Triassic volcanic rocks of the Stuhini Group, Upper Paleozoic rocks of the Stikine Assemblage and Lower Jurassic sedimentary rock of the Takwahoni Formation, Laberge Group.
Four rock samples collected from one location in 2020 graded from 1.6 to 3.5 per cent copper; five more rock samples spread out from about 570 metres to 1100 metres southeast (of the 4 rock sample locations), rendered values of 1.2 per cent copper, 3 samples between 0.1 and 1 per cent and 1 sample less than 0.1 per cent copper (Figure 5-15, Press Release, Brixton Metals Corp., Dec.15, 2020).
In 2020 Brixton Metals Corporation completed 3,025 metres of drilling in 16 core holes on the new Central Outlaw and West Outlaw zones on their Thorn property. A total of 1473 rock samples and 5588 soil samples were also collected throughout their expanded Thorn property including from the West Target area that contains the new Westarg showings and the BS-J (104K 029) and Park 13 (104K 158) showings.
