The RB W3 showing is located approximately 20 kilometres south-southeast from the confluence of the Stikine and Chutine rivers, on the south facing slope of a roughly East trending ridge.
This showing occurs in a granodioritic pluton of the late Early Jurassic Cone Mountain Plutonic Suite.
Chalcopyrite occurs with minor quartz in granodiorite and is rimmed by potassium-feldspar alteration, which is rimmed by chlorite-epidote. A sample assayed 0.73 per cent copper, 4.5 grams per tonne silver and 0.072 gram per tonne gold (Sample 90-G1-W03, Figure 4, Assessment Report 21145). A nearby sample from a pink, medium-grained aplite dike assayed 0.37 per cent copper, 3.5 grams per tonne silver and 0.08 gram per tonne gold (Sample 90-G1-W02, Figure 4, Assessment Report 21145)
