The Bear Valley South occurrence is located at an elevation of approximately 1630 metres on a roughly north-south–striking ridge on the south side of Bear Valley.
The area is underlain by area is underlain by rock of the Devonian Stikine Assemblage consisting of bedded limestone and mafic volcanics intruded by small mafic sills and dikes.
Locally, the type and style of mineralization is not described.
Work History
In 2019, Sassy Resources Corp. completed a program of prospecting, geological mapping and geochemical sampling on the area as part of the Foremore property. An outcrop grab sample (B0020867) assayed 0.46 gram per tonne gold, 9.8 grams per tonne silver, 0.79 per cent copper and 4.78 per cent zinc (Sassy Resources Corporation [2019-12-31]: Amended Independent Technical Report - Foremore Au-Ag-Cu-Zn-Pb Property, British Columbia).
