Drill hole SK-1 was drilled on a resistivity low in 1981 by Teck Resources (Assessment Report 10067). It encountered sheared interbedded augite porphyry fragmentals and banded tuffs of the Upper Triassic Stuhini Group. Moderate metal factor values and low resistivity were explained by up to 1 per cent pyrite (locally) and strong shearing respectively. Trace amounts of chalcopyrite occur.
