The Hickman North showing area is underlain by Triassic dioritic intrusion in an area of volcanic rocks of the Upper Triassic Stuhini group.
Rock sample 90G-27-W03 of a 3 centimetre wide malachite and chalcopyrite stained quartz vein hosted within chlorite - epidote altered diorite assayed 0.12 per cent copper and 0.9 gram per tonne silver (Assessment Report 21194).
In 1990, work completed on the Hickman claims by Schellex Gold consisted of 3 man-day's of fieldwork consisting of prospecting and surface sampling which resulted in collection of 12 rock and 2 soil samples. It was reported by Schellex Gold that in 1988, United Mineral Services Ltd had prospected and surface sampled portions of the area covered by the Hickman property.
