The Doctor showing is located on a ridge top between Gracey Creek (to west) and a tributary stream (to east). Gracey Creek flows northward into Unuk River. The showing is approximately 63 kilometres southwest of Bell 2 Lodge on Highway 37 and 49 kilometres northwest of Stewart, B.C.

This showing was first recognized by Kyba (2017) as a poly-metallic vein occurrence within Stuhini sediments. Colorado Resources Ltd. conducted a rock sampling program over the area in 2017, as part of a larger rock and soil sampling program on their KingPin property. Out of the 25 grab-float-chip samples collected at this target, 7 samples had greater than 1.0 gram per tonne gold, with sample 132528 having 9.65 grams per tonne Au, 84 grams per tonne Ag, and 0.7 per cent Cu. 5 samples had greater than 0.1 per cent copper with sample 132529 having 0.81 per cent Cu and 7 samples greater than 50 grams per tonne silver with sample 1284903 having 365 grams per tonne Ag (Assessment Report 37403).
