The SJ East showing is in a valley at the headwaters of a north flowing tributary of Snippaker Creek, midway between the SJ showing to the west and Pelican showing to the east. It is approximately 18.5 kilometres southeast of the Bronson Airstrip on Iskut River and 58.5 kilometres southwest of Bob Quinn Lake on Highway 37. It is in the southern region of the Pelican Property, currently held by Imperial Metals Corp. and Chris Graf.
The SJ East showing occurs in an area underlain by marine sedimentary and volcanic package of the Upper Triassic Stuhini Group, near the contact with Lower Jurassic andesitic volcanics of the Hazelton Group. The stratigraphy has been intruded by Early Jurassic monzodiorite to gabbro.
In 2019 rock sampling by Imperial Metals lower in elevation along the North-South valley 775 metre east of the SJ showing (Zone 3) was successful at determining that moderate mineralization of Zn is present within the rock. The valley also reported single anomalous Au float sample. Geochemical analysis reports Au ranging from 2.5 to 2512.3 parts per billion, Cu values ranging from 2.3 to 1577.2 parts per million and Zn values ranging 16 to 185 parts per million (Assessment Report 38871).
