Capsule Geology

The Johnny Flats East mineral occurrence is in a 2012 diamond drill hole located approximately 600 metres north of the Two Barrel trenches (MINFILE 104B 261) and 1.2 kilometres north of the Johnny Mountain Mine (MINFILE 104B 107). It is situated on mountain flats approximately 4.5 kilometres south of the Bronson Airstrip on Iskut River.

In 2012 Snip Gold Corp. drilled several holes in Johnny Mountain area. This mineral occurrence is identified by mineralized intersections in DDH SG12-24. The 327 metre drill hole intersected a pyrrhotite-rich mudstone unit near surface, transitioning to more interbedded sediments and volcanic sequences with increased alteration down hole. Results included 6.5 metres of 1.696 grams per tonne Au and 17.7 grams per tonne Ag at 115.95 metres (Assessment Report 33714).
