The area of the Founders Hill 4 showing is underlain by volcaniclastic rocks of the Lower Jurassic Betty Creek Formation (Hazelton Group). They strike north-northeast and lie on the west limb of the faulted, north-northeast trending American Creek anticline.

Sample B065898 was taken from a 2 to 4 centimetre wide quartz-chalcopyrite-pyrite vein in the vicinity of mafic volcanic rock. The vein has a one meter wide quartz-sericite-pyrite halo. The sample graded 20.1 grams per tonne silver and 1.825 per cent copper (Assessment Reports 37435).

In 2017, Pretium Exploration conducted grass roots prospecting, sampling and mapping on their Bowser property, mostly southwest and south of Bowser Lake; 2901 rock and 429 silt samples were collected (Assessment Reports 37435, 37443).

See Betty (104A 008) for details of relevant work done on the Bowser property besides the 2017 discovery work, including significant property-wide geophysical surveys.
