The Horatio showing area is underlain by Upper Triassic to Lower Jurassic andesitic and sedimentary rock of the Hazelton Group.
The showing features massive sulphide float carrying high values in gold up to 118.6 grams per tonne gold) and abundant sphalerite. In 2019, minor prospecting identified some lensoidal mineralization in place and a vein occurrence higher up the hill, which ran over 171.4 grams per tonne gold (Teuton Resources Corp., Press Release, March 26, 2019). The showing occurs at the boundary of a large ZTEM airborne feature interpreted as being related to porphyry/stockwork bodies. Host rocks were not described.
