The Rama showing is located on the eastern slopes of Monitor Lake, north of Lesley Creek.
The area is underlain by Hazelton Group rocks of the Lower to Middle Jurassic Mount Dilworth Formation and overlying Middle Jurassic Salmon River Formation (Open File 1987-22). These rocks lie on the crumpled west limb of the north-northwest trending Dilworth syncline.
Locally, quartz breccia veins contain pyrite, galena, tetrahedrite and minor sphalerite and chalcopyrite. Sulphides tend to be coarse grained and vein quartz is often vuggy.
In 1992, Westmin Resources Limited optioned the Shure property from Homestake Canada Limited and completed a program of geological mapping, prospecting, ground geophysical surveys and seven diamond drill holes, totalling 674.5 metres, on the Rama vein. The best assays from drilling were 4.45 grams per tonne gold and 68 grams per tonne silver over 0.85 metre in Hole S92CH4 (Assessment Report 22694).
