TheSoutheast showing is on a ridge top, east of Hastings Arm, Observatory Inlet, 44.5 kilometres southeast of Stewart, B.C.
The orogenic class of gold deposit is defined here as syn-tectonic quartz-carbonate veins and wall rock replacement associated with regional-scale faults. Orogenic ores form at convergent plate margins in accretionary and collisional orogens. Orebodies are surrounded by carbonate-sericite-pyrite alteration. Au, Ag, Sb and As are enriched in the ore fluids. W, B, Te, Se and Bi may also be enriched in the ores.
The Southeast discovery occurs on the east part of the Golddigger Property and is defined by a sample obtained from a cockscomb quartz-galena float sample from a ridgetop during J2 Syndicate Holdings Ltd.'s 2016 exploration program (Assessment Report 36903).
2018 exploration works on the Golddigger property by Goliath Resources Ltd. focused on areas east of Hastings Arm. Highlights include discoveries of multiple breccias, stockworks, and veins containing high grade gold and polymetallic mineralization. Exploration focused on extensive areas of recent glacial and snowpack abatement. Both an airborne magnetics survey and a LiDAR survey were completed on the property. The magnetic data shows multiple linear magnetic low breaks, one of which is correlated very well with structural trends on the east side of the Golddigger property (Assessment Report 37783).
