The Victory showing is located in the headwaters of Flat River about 30 kilometres east of Stewart.
The area is underlain by mainly pyroclastic fragmental volcanic rocks belonging to the Lower Jurassic Unuk River Formation (Hazelton Group) cut in many places by dikes of feldspar porphyritic andesite. These rocks, ranging in composition from mafic to felsic, include breccia, lapilli tuff and ash tuff; flows and agglomerate are also evident. In the showing area, the volcanic rocks are in contact with Middle-Upper Jurassic Hazelton Group sedimentary rocks. The sediments are composed of black mudstone, siltstone and limestone.
Syngenetic extremely fine grained disseminated sulphides occurs in large outcrops of mudstone-siltstone-limestone. In 2005, a rock grab sample (A05-286) from black mudstone/limestone with several per cent very fine disseminated pyrite assayed 0.14 per cent zinc and 1.1 grams per tonne silver (Assessment Report 27960).
In 2005, a geochemical program was conducted on behalf of Pinnacle Mines Ltd. and a total of 13 rock samples collected.
