The Kitsault Gold 1 showing is located in the upper reaches of Lahte Creek, about 50 kilometres southeast of Stewart, north of Alice Arm.
The Kitsault Gold 1 area covers the southern extent of Lower Jurassic Hazelton Group and Upper Triassic Stuhini Group volcanic and sedimentary rocks and overlying Middle Jurassic to Upper Cretaceous Bowser Group sedimentary rocks.
The showing comprises a rock sample of a brown weathering, fine grained, grey sedimentary rock (Hazelton Group) which assayed 0.21 per cent copper (Assessment Report 28476).
In 2005, Kitsault Resources Ltd. conducted a stream sediment sampling program on the Kitsault Gold Property on behalf of owner Rand Edgar Smyth Syndicate. A total of 161 stream sediment samples were collected, together with 70 rock samples.
