The Cu Fault-NE showing is mid-slope north of Zymoetz (Copper) River, on the south flank of Kleanza Mountain, approximately 15 kilometres east of Terrace B.C.
The area was locally explored and sampled by Decade Resources Ltd. in 2019. The showing is in the northeast region of a greater than 0.5 kilometre long southwest oriented zone of consistent copper (with addition of minor gold and silver) mineralization (Copper Fault Zone). The mineralization may be spatially and genetically related to the prominent Copper Fault and it consists, most likely, of numerous, subparallel zones of limited (at surface conditions) width. The most intense copper mineralization appears to be related to the most pronounced zones of tectonic shearing and, locally, to the most intense fracturing where it could be easily recognized by common presence of secondary malachite and azurite. The most intense mineralization has been documented along relatively narrow, proper Copper Fault zone and it appears to occur more frequently at lower elevations within the system. It also appears that the degree of tectonic deformation decreases northeastward (Assessment Report 38909).
