Capsule Geology

Camp 2 South showing is located on north-facing ridge above Salmon Run Creek, approximately 2.2 kilometres south-southeast of Treasure Mountain peak. It is situated in the central region of the Treasure Mountain property, approximately 38 kilometres east of Terrace, B.C.

The Camp 2 South showing is within a greater than 14 kilometre north trending zone of copper+/-silver mineralization extending from Clore River valley to Kleanza River valley.

In 2011, Trade Wind Ventures contracted Fugro Airborne Surveys Corp. to fly an electromagnetic and magnetic airborne geophysical survey over the Treasure Mountain property, which included the Camp 2 area.

The exploration program by Decade Resources Ltd. in 2017 identified a 3 to 4 metre wide fault zone with up to 2 per cent bornite plus locally abundant malachite. The Camp 2 zone can be traced for 20 metres, before becoming obscured by talus (Assessment Report 37213).
