The OW showing is on a ridge 1.6 kilometres southwest of Mt. O’Brien. It is underlain by Lower Jurassic Upper Telkwa Formation
The showing was discovered in 2005 during fieldwork by the British Columbia Geological Survey. Sample JN13-7 assayed 3.6 grams per tonne Au, 17 grams per tonne Ag and 5.314 per cent Cu (Fieldwork 2005, pages 117-134). The sample was obtained by digging through talus to a malachite-stained shear zone in rubble-crop. The width and length of this zone are unknown, because it is largely covered.
