A quartz vein averaging 36 centimetres wide occurs in grano- diorite of the Cretaceous-Tertiary Coast Plutonic Complex. The vein strikes 100 degrees for 24 metres, dips 30 degrees northeast, and is mineralized with pyrite, galena and sphalerite. A 51 centimetre sample assayed 0.7 grams per tonne gold and 9.3 grams per tonne silver (Geological Survey of Canada Memoir 205).
