A 180 metre wide band of white, coarse-grained limestone and dolomite outcrops on Lot 797 on the east coast of Banks Island, 2.5 kilometres south of Gale Point. The bed is contained in a roof pendant of gneissic diorite and migmatite within granodiorite of the Coast Plutonic Complex. The deposit strikes 125 degrees and dips steeply northeast to vertical. Numerous inclusions of country rock are present along the northeast edge of the band. Sinuous quartzite fragments are sometimes found floating in the limestone. The dolo- mite commonly contains veins of white quartz.
