Capsule Geology

The BR 057 showing area is underlain by marine sedimentary and volcanic rock of the Upper Triassic Stuhini (Takla) Group. Rocks of the Jurassic Hazelton Group occur to the northeast and southwest of the Stuhini package.

In 2004, Stealth Minerals Ltd collected several samples from one area of their Breccia claims. A sample of quartz vein cutting green volcanic rock containing pyrite and chalcopyrite assayed 0.88 gram per tonne gold, 6.6 grams per tonne silver, 0.57 per cent lead and 0.55 per cent zinc (Assessment Report 27635).
