The BR 574 showing area is underlain by marine sedimentary and volcanic rock of the Upper Triassic Stuhini (Takla) Group. Rocks of the Jurassic Hazelton Group occur to the northeast and southwest of the Stuhini package. Permian Asitka Group crystalline limestones are the oldest rocks exposed in the region.

In 2004, Stealth Minerals Ltd collected several samples from one area of their Breccia claims. A skarn sample with 20 per cent sulphides assayed 0.09 per cent copper, 98.8 grams per tonne silver, greater than 1 per cent lead and greater than 1 per cent zinc (Assessment Report 27635).

Refer to Har (094E 053) for a details of the Breccia-Claw area work history.
