The BINGO occurrence is located about 828 metres northwest of the AL (Thesis II/III) past producer (094E 091), in the Toodoggone Gold Camp, approximately 297 kilometres north of Smithers.

The showing is underlain by rocks of the Lower Jurassic Toodoggone Formation (Hazelton Group). The Adoogacho and Metsantan members of the Toodoggone Formation underlie the area. The Adoogacho Member consists of trachydacite ash-flow tuff with lenses of lapilli tuff, rare marlstone and conglomerate near the base. The Metsantan Member is composed mainly of trachyandesite (latite) flows with lenses of lapilli tuff, and lahar; minor volcanic sandstone and conglomerate (Bulletin 86). The Metsantan Member, in part, directly overlies the basal Adoogacho Member and is also in fault contact.

The Bingo showing is comprised of two parallel zones of silicification, including a strongly defined western zone 350 metres long, and a shorter, partially “blind” eastern zone. Both zones dip northeast, more shallowly at their northwest ends and more steeply at their southeast ends. Gold, silver, and copper occur with pyrite and chalcopyrite-bearing silica-altered rock. Gold grades in trenches range up to 3.3 grams per tonne gold across 4.4 metres (Bowen, 2012). Fourteen 1988 drillholes confirmed these surface indications of large amounts of low-grade silica-hosted gold mineralization; several holes also cut a narrower structure or structures 2 to 5 metres wide with grades in the 3 to 5 grams per tonne gold range, accompanied by silver and copper values up to 179 grams per tonne and 2.4 per cent, respectively (Bowen, 2102). The entire Bingo zone is strongly anomalous in copper; some individual 0.5-metre-long core sample lengths assay up to 3.92 per cent (Bowen, 2012). The silver grades at the Bingo showing are typically higher than most other zones in the vicinity. The highest silver assay from an individual 0.5-metre-long sample interval at Bingo assayed 243.0 grams per tonne in Hole 88-11 (Bowen, 2012).

Two types of silica alteration were observed in the drillholes. A narrow band of dense, grey, cherty quartz is present in almost all drill sections, in the hangingwall of a zone of more porous baritic silica. Both types contain abundant pyrite and chalcopyrite.

In 1985 and 1988, Energex Minerals Ltd worked on the Bingo prospect.

In 2007, Christopher James Gold Corp. conducted a helicopter-borne magnetic gradiometer survey consisting of 2229 line-kilometres over all historic gold deposits and MINFILE occurrences on the property, including the Bingo area. Maps completed include coloured Total Magnetic Intensity, Measured 3-D Analytic Signal, Measured Vertical Magnetic Gradient, and colour-shaded Tilt Derivative of the Total Magnetic Intensity.

From 2020 through 2023, Thesis Gold Inc. completed programs of prospecting, mapping, geochemical (rock and soil) sampling, ground and airborne geophysical surveys, re-logging/re-sampling of historical drill core, and extensive digitization and compilation of existing exploration data on their Ranch property. From 2021 to 2023, 368 diamond drill holes, totaling 68,481.6 metres were completed on the Ranch property, with the majority of the drilling targeting the major prospects of Bonanza, Ridge, Bingo, Thesis II, Thesis III, Bingo, BV, JK and Eric. Metallurgical testing and environmental monitoring/baseline and geotechnical studies and infrastructure upgrading were also initiated during this period, along with First Nations consultations. Drilling at the major prospects on the Ranch property expanded the known mineralized zones along strike and at depth.

The 2021 soil and rock program at Bingo returned several anomalous gold and silver concentrations. Subsequent 2022 and 2023 exploration programs at Bingo included 46 diamond drill holes for a total of 8,106 metres. In 2022, drilling resulted in the expansion of the known extent of mineralization at Bingo to a 500 metre strike length, determined by drill hole 22BNGDD009 in the northwest and 22BNGDD007 in the southeast. Drill hole 22BNGDD009 returned values of 1.86 grams per tonne gold and 5.96 grams per tonne silver over a 50.3 metre interval. Drill hole 22BNGDD007, testing the "Thesis Structural Corridor" between Thesis III and Bingo prospects, returned grades of 1.3 grams per tonne gold and 1.41 grams per tonne silver over a 34.9 metre interval (Assessment Report 41940).

The 2023 drilling program at Bingo revealed northwest-trending broad zones of near-surface gold and copper anomalies. including drill hole 23BNGDD001, which intersected 1.52 grams per tonne gold, 4.35 grams per tonne silver and 0.42 per cent copper over 79.7 metres, including 4.25 grams per tonne gold, 12.61 grams per tonne silver and 2.81 per cent copper over 5 metres (Assessment Report 41940).

In August 2023, Benchmark Metals Inc. merged with Thesis Gold Inc., joining the Lawyer Project, located in similar Toodoggone Formation rocks to the southeast, with Thesis Gold's Ranch Project.

A NI 43-101 & 43-101F1 Technical Report and Updated Mineral Reserve Estimate of the Lawyer-Ranch Gold-Silver Project was prepared for Thesis Gold Inc. by P & E Mining Consultants Inc. in May 2024 and an updated Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) was completed for the Lawyers-Ranch Project by JDS Energy & Mining Inc. effective August 30, 2024.

In 2024, drilling at the Ranch property was designed to advance engineering and environmental baseline studies in preparation for a Prefeasibility Study led by Ausenco Engineering Canada ULC and Mining Plus Canada Consulting Ltd. with 2,226 metres of drilling focused on geotechnical and hydrogeological studies (Thesis Gold Inc. Press Release Feb. 18, 2025).

See Bonanza (094E 079) for further geological and work history details of the Bingo prospect. This prospect is presently (2025) contained within the Ranch (Al) property, along with a number of other prospects. See also the nearby Thesis III occurrence (094E 091).
