The Bower 1 occurrence is located 67 kilometres northeast of Thutade Lake about 206 kilometres north-northwest of the community of Germansen Landing.
The showing area is underlain by limestone, slate, siltstone and argillite of the Cambrian to Ordovician Kechika Group. Mineralization discovered on the Bower 1 claim is limited to a small occurrence of malachite with 5 to 7 per cent pyrite hosted in a white bull quartz vein. In 1992, a grab sample (FDG-003) assayed 0.35 per cent copper (Figure 3, Assessment Report 27769).
In 1992, Major General Resources, in agreement with Kennecott Canada Inc., collected a total of 46 soil and 10 rock samples on the Bower 1 claim.
