The Goldvale 02 is located about 5 kilometres northeast of the confluence of Moosevale Creek with the Sustut River.

The Goldvale 02 occurrence area is underlain the Upper Triassic Savage Mountain Formation (Takla Group) consisting of augite porphyry basalt flows, breccia, pillow breccia, tuff and interbedded bladed feldspar porphyry.

An intersection in drill hole GV96-02 from 33.53 metres to 36.58 metres, consisting of well-fractured to brecciated andesite with potassium feldspar, epidote and trace pyrite, graded 0.294 grams per tonne gold and 0.196 zinc (Assessment Report 24737).

WORK HISTORY

In 1995, Consolidated North Coast collected and analyzed 210 soil samples, 97 moss mat stream sediment samples, and 1 rock sample. Consolidated North Coast prepared a grid which was used to conduct an Induced Polarization (IP) survey, by Lloyd Geophysics.

In 1996, Consolidated North Coast Industries Ltd. carried out an exploration program consisting of six diamond drill holes on the Goldvale property. Drilling in six holes totaled 915 metres and was focused on Induced Polarization targets revealed in their 1995 program.
