The Fuel coal occurrence is located about 3 kilometres north of Uslika Lake and approximately 51 kilometres northwest of the community of Germansen Landing.

At the showing, thin discontinuous lenses (less than 1 to 15 centimetres in width) of impure silty/sandy lignite to sub-bituminous coal are hosted in Lower Cretaceous sandstones and conglomerates.
