The Cassie occurrence is located at an elevation of approximately 1160 metres on a small hill, north of Chuchi Lake and approximately 5.6 kilometres east-southeast of Lhole Tse Mountain.

Regionally, the area is underlain by undivided volcanic rocks of the Lower Jurassic Chuchi Lake Formation (Takla Group), which have been intruded by quartz monzonitic to monzogranitic rocks of the Lower Jurassic Hogem Plutonic Suite.

Locally, at the Cassie zone, dioritic or granodioritic to gabbroic rocks host disseminated chalcopyrite and malachite associated with quartz veining and magnetite, epidote, potassium feldspar and biotite alteration minerals.

Three drill pads and one drill collar, spaced approximately 100 metres apart, have been identified in the southeast corner of the Cassie area and likely relate to the 1989 drilling program on the nearby SRM (MINFILE 093N 104) occurrence. The location of these drillholes was reported to be unknown and it is not clear what holes these correspond to.

A second zone of mineralization, referred to as the North Coho zone, is located in a small creek gully approximately 500 metres to the southeast of the Cassie zone. The zone comprises a sheared, medium-grained hornblende diorite with variable chlorite, epidote and potassium feldspar alteration, quartz ± calcite veining and disseminated to semi-massive chalcopyrite, pyrite and bornite mineralization. Malachite and azurite staining are also reported.

Another small, approximately 3 by 5 metres, mineralized outcrop (Middle zone) is located approximately halfway between and along strike of the two previous two zones and comprises semi-massive and disseminated chalcopyrite with malachite and azurite in a chloritic- and potassic-altered hornblende diorite. Quartz flooding with secondary calcite is also reported.

In 2015, eight grab samples (CH080, 081, 088 and 091 through 095) from the Cassie zone yielded from 0.125 to 0.856 per cent copper and up to 11.3 grams per tonne silver and 1.77 grams per tonne gold (Assessment Report 35417). Previous sampling, in 2001, is reported to have yielded up to 1.55 per cent copper and 6.44 grams per tonne gold (Assessment Report 35417).

In 2018, four grab samples (CH18214 through CH18217) from the North Coho zone yielded from 0.616 to 1.489 per cent copper and 2.3 to 10.7 grams per tonne silver (Assessment Report 37713).

In 2019, a grab sample (CH19001) from the North Coho zone yielded 0.096 gram per tonne gold, 12.6 grams per tonne silver and 2.196 per cent copper, whereas a grab sample (CH19004) from the middle zone yielded 0.165 gram per tonne gold, 7.6 grams per tonne silver and 3.253 per cent copper (Assessment Report 38713).

The area has been explored in conjunction with the nearby SRM (MINFILE 093N 104) and GG (MINFILE 093N 209) occurrences and a complete exploration history can be found there.

During 2009 through 2019, Ronald J. Bilquist conducted programs of prospecting, rock and soil sampling and geological mapping on the area as the Chuchi 1-10 claims.
