The area is mapped as the Lower Jurassic Nilkitkwa Formation of the Hazelton Group, which is intruded by Late Cretaceous to Eocene plugs and stocks. The showing is hosted in limestone and red vesi- cular lavas. Strongly epidotized lava contains chalcopyrite and py- rite as occasional shears and weak disseminations. Finely dis- seminated bornite and chalcopyrite occur in a fault zone adjacent to a volcanic-intrusive contact. Malachite staining is found in the limestone.
