The Dome lies 400 metres southeast of the Henderson (Duthie Mines) (093L 088). Host rocks consist of Lower to Middle Jurassic Hazelton Group volcanics which consist of massive lapilli tuff and spherulitic flow-banded rhyolite which are crosscut by numerous diabasic and fine-grained dioritic dikes.

The Dome vein lode, at 1265 metres elevation, strikes 065 degrees and dips between 75 to 85 degrees to the northwest. The vein ranges from 0.9 to 2.0 metres in width, is well-defined for 215 metres, and is hosted in altered dacitic flow breccia. Several parallel fissures host sulphide stringers and infillings. Mineralization consists of arsenopyrite, sphalerite, pyrite, galena, chalcopyrite and tetrahedrite with minor quartz gangue.

The Dome and Dome Extension veins are part of the Duthie mine.
