The Huber occurrence area is located near the base of the western slopes between Mineral Hill and Grouse Mountain, about 14 kilometres north of the community of Houston. The showing is about 500 metres north of the associated Lone Pine (093L 028) occurrence.

The area is underlain by Lower Jurassic Hazelton Group volcanics of the Telkwa Formation. The rocks are comprised of fine grained, red, green to black, andesitic to rhyolitic flows and associated breccia, tuff with coarse grey-green and purple lapilli tuff. The volcanics are intruded by four stages of intrusions probably related to the Late Cretaceous Bulkley Plutonic Suite dated at 70 million years. Porphyritic granite, alaskite, fine-grained monzonite and dacite intrude the Telkwa rocks. The volcanics are altered and hornfelsed near the contact.

Mineralization is associated with a complex series of quartz veins and veinlets which crosscut the hornfelsed host rock and is disseminated in the porphyry intrusive rocks.

In 1914, the Lone Pine showing (093L 028) was described as occurring in argillaceous volcanics and consists of a quartz vein striking north and dipping 75 degrees east, hosting galena, pyrite, and chalcopyrite. Samples from a 4.5-tonne stockpile averaged 1.7 grams per tonne gold, 2962 grams per tonne silver, 3.7 per cent copper and 24.7 per cent lead (Minister of Mines Annual Report 1915, page 78). In 1917, the Independent showing (093L 027) consisted of a 1.0 metre wide quartz vein which hosted chalcopyrite, pyrite, quartz gangue, and silicified wallrock. A 13.6-tonne stockpile was estimated to average 12 per cent copper and 102.8 grams per tonne silver (Minister of Mines Annual Report 1917, page 122).

In 1976, 12 drillholes, north of the porphyry granite, were drilled in a thin cap of hornfelsed hostrock which resembled the Breccia zone to the southwest and hosted minor chalcopyrite and molybdenite. A vertical percussion drill hole (M3) yielded 0.176 per cent molybdenite over 36.6 metres, including 0.30 per cent molybdenite over 18.3 metres (Assessment Report 6152).

In 1983, a sample of a quartz vein in a dacitic tuff outcropping hosted chalcopyrite and assayed 0.005 gram per tonne gold, 12.0 grams per tonne silver, 0.008 per cent copper, 0.048 per cent lead, 0.006 per cent zinc and 0.002 per cent MoS2 (Assessment Report 6152).

In 1978, the Granby showing (Granite zone, 093L 027) was drilled and minor disseminated molybdenite was found in the porphyry granite. Molybdenite averaged 0.017 per cent over the length of the hole (Assessment Report 7117).

Bard Ventures optioned the Lone Pine property in 2007 and conducted drilling in 2007 and 2008. In January of 2009, the company released a combined Measured and Indicated resource estimate for the Alaskite zone (093L 028) (Stockwatch News Release - January 22, 2009, Technical Report for Bard Ventures Ltd. dated March 1, 2011 www.sedar.com).

Refer to Lone Pine (093L 028) for a detailed work history and geology of the area.
