The Horribilis 11 occurrence is located between Weedon Creek and the Crooked River, approximately 8 kilometres northeast of the north end of Weedon Lake.
Regionally, the area is underlain by basaltic volcanic rocks of the Mississippian to Permian Antler Formation and Triassic to Jurassic Takla Group.
Locally, a brecciated and silicified andesite hosts minor pyrite.
In 1988, a sample (33250) assayed 0.185 gram per tonne gold (Assessment Report 18574).
