The Pickle occurrence is located on a southeast-trending ridge, north of the Euchiniko River and approximately 4 kilometres southwest of Tagai Lake.
The area is underlain by volcanic rocks of the Early to Middle Jurassic Entiako Formation (Hazelton Group).
Locally, a 5-centimetre wide subhorizontal quartz epidote vein crosscuts plagioclase and pyroxene phyric andesite. The vein contains up to 10 per cent chrysocolla and 5 per cent magnetite.
A grab sample returned 3.247 per cent copper and 0.144 gram per tonne silver (Geoscience BC Report 2016-1).
Work History
The occurrence was discovered in 2015 during a Geoscience BC TREK mapping project.
In 2017, Ian Webster staked the Pickle claims and the following year completed a minor program of prospecting and rock sampling on the area.
