The Cindy South showing is underlain by a sequence of volcanic and sedimentary rocks of the Lower Jurassic Telkwa Formation of the Hazelton Group. Stocks and plugs of granodiorite of the Late Cretaceous Kasalka Plutonic Suite intrude the strata.
A glassy, milky to transparent quartz vein, 60 centimetres wide is exposed in hornfelsed volcanics. This vein contains disseminated molybdenite, minor pyrite and the highest gold geochemical anomaly noted on the property at 0.065 gram per tonne gold (Assessment Report 13070).
See Cinderella (093E 106) for details of the exploration in 1983 that led to the discovery of the Cindy South.
See also Main Creek (Coles) (093E 110) for related geological and work history details that occurred in the area after the 1983 work on the Cinderella.
