The Takom 545442 occurrence is located at an elevation of approximately 1570 metres on a north-facing slope of the northwestern spur of Big Timothy Mountain and south of Moffat Lakes.

Regionally, the area is underlain by granodioritic intrusive rocks of the Boss Creek and Schoolhouse Lake units of the Late Triassic to Early Jurassic Takomkane Batholith.

Locally, a quartzite zone, approximately 7 metres wide, in a granodiorite hosts un-specified mineralization.

In 2007, a rock sample (RK0706) assayed greater than 30 grams per tonne silver, 1.0 per cent lead, 1.0 per cent zinc and 0.1 per cent cadmium (Assessment Report 29902).

In 2007, the area was prospected and sampled as the Takom (545442) claim.
