The Isasa property is located about 37 kilometres east of Quesnel, just north of Sovereign Creek, between Moustique Creek in the west and Eskridge Creek in the east.
The area is generally underlain by Middle-Upper Triassic basal black phyllite and slaty argillite of the Nicola Group close to the eastern contact with ultramafic rocks of the Upper Paleozoic Crooked Amphibolite. Clay is common throughout the property, some of it sandy and gravelly. Rock sampling was conducted in 1989-90 by R. Trifaux and focused on the industrial mineral potential of the clay. One rock sample (#1) from a greyish, fine-grained unit that is highly oxidized and containing a black unidentified mineral assayed 0.14 per cent nickel and 0.18 per cent chromium (Assessment Report 20164).
