The Clinton Silica showing is located on the south side of Fiftyone Creek, approximately 4.0 kilometres northeast of Clinton.

In 2009, a short diamond drill program consisting of two diamond drill holes, totalling 64 metres, was carried on Clinton Silica claims to test silica zone in an exposed ledge.

The area is underlain by marine sedimentary and volcanic rocks of the Permian-Triassic Cache Creek Complex. These are in contact with basaltic volcanic rocks of the Miocene-Pleistocene Chilcotin Group.

Locally, there is a silicified zone, approximately 30 metres wide and dipping to the southwest.

In 2009, one drill hole returned 75 to 90 per cent silica over 39.67 metres (Assessment Report 31656).
