The Rocky 3 showing is located about 3 kilometres southwest of Perkins Peak which itself is located about 23 kilometres southwest of the community of Kleena Kleene. The occurrence is underlain by volcaniclastic rock of the Upper Triassic Mosely Formation.
Drill Hole PK21-05 was drilled to the north to a depth of 415 metres to test copper mineralization identified in 2020 along the nearby ridge crest. The hole intersected a meta-diorite from 23.6 metres to 89 metres, and from 89 metres to 158 metres weakly altered, competent hornfelsed volcaniclastic rocks were intersected. From 158 metres to approximately 199 metres, the core is strongly sheared and fractured within a fault zone. From 199 metres to the end of the hole at 415 metres, the core is more competent, chlorite-epidote altered hornfelsed volcanic units which are locally bleached. Two significant samples occur within the meta-diorite: 1.62 grams per tonne gold from 62 metres to 63.15 metres and 0.0586 per cent copper from 79.55 metres to 81 metres (Press Release, Ethos Gold Corp. September 29, 2021, and Assessment Report 39610, Table 8). The gold value is associated with quartz veining at the margin of a porphyritic dike and the copper value with a narrow zone of silicification.
