The Linzer South (Sister Copper Northwest) occurrence is located at an elevation of approximately 690 metres on a northeast-facing slope, southwest of the Adam River and approximately 4.2 kilometres west of the west end of Keta Lake.

The area to the west of the Adam River is mainly underlain mainly by the upper part of the Upper Triassic Karmutsen Formation, comprising mainly thick massive flows with local intercalations of amygdaloidal basalt and pods of autoclastic breccias, pillowed and massive flows with thin intercalations of volcaniclastic and limy sandstones, all cut by thin dolerite/gabbro sills.

Locally, a propylitic (epidote-carbonate-clay-silica)–altered basalt hosts narrow (1 to 6 centimetres wide) quartz veins and pyrite-bornite-malachite±chalcopyrite mineralization.

In 2010, a rock sample (6623) assayed 0.735 per cent copper (Assessment Report 31856). The following year, a rock sample (6539) assayed 0.603 per cent copper (Assessment Report 32553).

In 2020, nine rocks samples (27298-27301, 27462-17467 and 27473) yielded from 0.892 to 6.55 per cent copper, 0.7 to 24.4 grams per tonne silver and 0.008 to 0.138 gram per tonne gold (Assessment Report 39283).

Work History

In 1991, West Pride Industries completed a program of geological mapping and geochemical (rock, silt and soil) sampling on the area as the Boyes 1-5 claims of the Adam River property. During 2006 through 2013, M. Schau completed programs of prospecting, geological mapping and rock sampling on the area as the Kringle claims. In 2018, Crest Resources Inc. completed a program of rock and soil sampling on the area as the Red Metal Ridge property. In 2020, Altum Resource Corp. completed a program of prospecting and geochemical (rock and soil) sampling on the area as the Adam West property.
