Capsule Geology	The area is underlain by andesites of the Upper Triassic Karmutsen Formation, Vancouver Group. Granodiorite of the Late Jurassic Island Plutonic Suite lies to the east. Widespread pyrite and lesser chalcopyrite are found in faults and fractures (Assessment Report 1666).
