The Consortium South (Red Star) occurrence is located at an elevation of approximately 720 metres on a west facing slope, east of Stewart Lake.
The area is underlain by pillow basalts, basalt flows and/or breccias and undivided basalt and andesite flows of the Triassic Karmutsen Formation (Vancouver Group).
Locally, basalts host ankerite veins with sphalerite mineralization. A granitic dike is also reported in the area.
In 2018, a rock sample (34586) assayed 0.42 gram per tonne gold, 27.5 grams per tonne silver, 3.50 per cent lead and 2.99 per cent zinc (Wasteneys, H. (2018-10-30): NI 43-101 Technical Report on the Consortium Project).
