The Will occurrence is located on the northwest side of Traux Creek, approximately 350 metres southwest of the creek mouth on Carpenter Lake.
The area is underlain by Mississippian to Jurassic Bridge River Complex (Group) metasediments and volcanics comprising chert, argillite, quartzite, rhyolite and basalt.
Locally, a short, 4 metre long, adit exposes a shear zone hosting small, 3 to 5 centimetres wide, quartz veins with pyrite and arsenopyrite. In 1987, a 0.35 metre channel sample (G-2641) assayed 5.18 grams per tonne gold (Assessment Report 16300).
In 1987, No. 28 Sail View Ventures completed a program of rock, silt and soil sampling on the area as the Will 1-4 claims.
