Capsule Geology

The deposit is described as "semi-nephrite" or non-commercial type. The deposit is 45 to 60 centimetres wide consisting of pale green to grey waxy nephrite occurring as sheared lenses, nodules and layers in sheared tremolite within a pronounced fault in serpenti- nite. The showing is within the Yalakom fault zone and lies southwest of the main body of Permian and older Shulaps Ultramafic Complex.
