The Marshall Creek (P.S.) occurrence is located at an elevation of 1066 metres, near the head of a small valley approximately 1.5 kilometres north west of Carol Lake.

The area is underlain by Mississippian to Jurassic Bridge River Complex (Group) metasediments and volcanics comprising chert, argillite, quartzite, rhyolite and basalt.

The "PS" workings are hosted by rhyolite, which extends to a sheared contact with un-mineralized massive feldspathic basalt. The rhyolite contains massive pyrite. In 1981, a sample of the mineralized shear assayed 4.8 grams gold per tonne and 6.5 grams silver per tonne (Assessment Report 10695).

The "MCP" workings are located on the east side Marshall Creek, west of the “PS” workings, at an elevation of 914 metres. They are hosted by volcanic rocks and consist of pyrite occurring for approximately 40 metres along vertical fractures.

The four "BCT" tunnels are located on the west side of Marshall Creek, approximately 2.5 kilometres to the north- north east and at an elevation of 1021 metres. They explore south west- trending, thin and weakly developed fractures in schistose argillite containing pyrite crystals. In 1981, sampling of the four tunnels, two of which had collapsed, yielded up to 0.3 gram per tonne gold (Assessment Report 10695).

During the early 1900’s a number of tunnels or adits were reportedly driven on the property in conjunction with the nearby Summit (MINFILE 092JNE035) occurrence. In 1981 and 1982, Quinto Mining Corp. completed programs of rock and soil sampling, geological mapping and combined airborne and ground geophysical surveys on the area as the Marshall Ridge project. During 1987 through 1994, Gold Summit Mines completed programs of soil and rock sampling, trenching, geological mapping, an airborne geophysical survey and six diamond drill holes, totalling 984.0 metres, on the area as the Summit property. In 2006 and 2007, the area was prospected as the Eight Bits property. In 2010 and 2011, St. Elias Mines Ltd. completed programs of soil and rock sampling and a ground geophysical survey on the area.
