The FYP occurrence is located in the head waters of Molybdenite Creek, a tributary of Texas Creek.
The area is underlain by hornfelsed sediments, argillite, quartzite and chert and volcanics, andesite breccia and greenstone tuff of the Mississippian to Jurassic Bridge River Complex (Group). These have been intruded by granodiorites and andesite dike swarms.
Locally, there is a 500 metre long and 20 to 50 centimetre wide quartz vein with open spaces and rusty weathering.
A sample (47824) of the quartz vein assayed 1600 parts per million arsenic, 1.7 parts per million silver and 300 parts per billion gold. Other samples taken in the area assayed up to 350 parts per billion gold, 1800 parts per million arsenic and 40.0 parts per million silver from scattered vein grab samples (Nelson, J. (1985-01-10): B.C. Gold Reconnaissance 1985 - Lillooet Project - Final Report).
During 2007 through 2010, Galliard Resources Corp. examined the area as the Index and Enterprise properties.
